I'm sorry it's taken me so long to return to Alacrity, but I finally have a chance to say a few things: a few months ago my husband physically assaulted me (yes, a few months after we married). I was left absolutely shattered, scared to leave the house, and an anxious mess, I've finally obtained meds and counselling and am on a much better track, again. But with this, I realized I am not stable enough to manage a huge and wonderful site like Alacrity. Kaeli has done a fantastic job of managing absolutely everything (even trying to code and accomplishing quite a bit!) and of course the ever wonderful Carni heads up all of the art staff, quality control, monthly idea suggestions, and EVEN manages to squeeze in tons of art!

As far as the site sale, I put the site up not for price reasons - but looking for a stable owner/management system that can channel Alacrity into a worldwide phenomenon and expand on it's solid foundation as a sim site. I believe prices are meant to stay private, but I turned down multiple substantially higher offers on the site because Henry indicated great skill, managing other games as well as being a business man with clear goals in mind. Assured that no drastic changes would occur and the natural growth and lean of the site would stay the main focus, I believe Henry is doing a fine job so far and we've managed server moves and staff merging fabulously.

I will still be here programming for Alacrity and helping us grow, more so now that my personal life has become less complicated. I apologize sincerely for the stagnancy of things around here lately and tomorrow I will begin programming!

Thank goodness you're fine. Rob, I realize I can be a nuisance on ala, but if you EVER need anything, just let me know. I've been with family members who have been in similair situations. I sadly know what you're going through. <3 Ya!

Welcome back, Miss Robyn. :) I am glad to see you in good spirits with the help of friends, family, and good company. Miss Kaeli and Miss Carnivale have been doing a wonderful job of looking after Alacrity, and I hope it is still as much home to you as it was before. I wish you all the best, and that we may be better well acquainted in time.

That's terrible Rob, no one deserves to have things like that done to them. Glad to hear you are recovering, even if it is slowly, and my love an support goes out to you changing your life for the better <3 Ala is obviously in great hands, since most people didn't even know you'd sold Ala until the news post. I'm excited to see what y'all have in store for us! :)

I'm glad you're back on a better path Roby, you know we're all here rooting for you even when you're not about. And I've always known you cared about the site too much to just hand it over to whomever, right now Ala's in good hands and you should be free to concentrate on yourself. Keep on moving forward, you are a fantastic person and you deserve much out of life.

0_o He... attacked you? Hope he is in jail. *fails to understand the world, once more* As long as there is good management, and we don't run into super terrible changes (like the site suddenly in all pink and with baby art) it's all fine.

That is perfectly understandable, Rob. My ex also physically/emotionally/sexually assaulted me. It's a hard thing to deal with, I'm very proud that to hear you are back on track <3 I look forward to what is in store for Ala :) I'm glad to see that you're back ♥

Aww Rob, I'm sorry about that! I'm so glad you're feeling better now :) I can see why you've sold the site, I have seen it in General Discussion and I was afraid of something about you just wanting money but I'm glad you're not like that <3 I know everyone will understand what happened and why you chose to help give the site a boost :P

I was wondering where you had gone Rob. I missed talking to you. I'm glad you're on a better track and sought help for yourself. Not many people are strong enough to do that. =) Hopefully with a little bit off your plate you'll have an easier time.
